LG really wants you to buy their Optimus 2X and Optimus Black. After the successful online sale, they are now having a 10 day nationwide mega sale for their two latest Android phones. From July 1 to 10, you can get the LG Optimus 2X for Php24,990 (Php3000 off) and the LG Optimus Black for Php17,990 (Php2000 off).
The LG Optimus 2X is the first dual-core processor that landed in our country. It uses Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor, a 4-inch display, 8 megapixel camera and 8GB of internal storage. It’s still currently running on Android 2.2 Froyo but is certainly upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread (no dates yet).
The LG Optimus Black is a 4-inch single core 1GHz Android phone that boasts of the brightest display around with their Nova technology. Like the Optimus 2X it also runs on Android 2.2 Froyo but upgradeable to Gingerbread. a 5-megapixel camera that can do 720p HD recording is included in this phone.
