After months of speculation, giant of smartphone HTC has announced it will bring the first phone from Google Android for its base line EVO to the con is United Kingdom first consumer ready 3D Smartphone, the HTC EVO 3D will be sport free of glasses 3D technology, allowing content to be played and captured on the device without 3D glasses. As well as transferable to play in a 3D-compatible device.
This announcement comes after Nintendo released a 3D version of glasses of his acclaimed DS console, which caused some consumer symptoms such as headaches and nausea. The device is already available in America, but United Kingdom has not yet had access to this device. LG has just launched its rival for this device with the LG Optimus 3D. It is already available at United Kingdom.
"Will be hit UK shelves in July" says HTC on its Facebook fan page bringing many discussions of consumer in the comments section of the Facebook page where the use of the 3D functionality.
The device will be sports a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual - core processor and 1 GB of internal storage, which seems awfully low but can expect a memory slot car for storage expansion. Display wise, has a bright 4.3 inch 'Super LCD touch' display with 960 x 540 resolution. That is essentially what is expected of most of the high-end Android phones today. Also it find cameras rear dual 5MP with an LED flash making images 2D or 3D and 720 p video at 30 fps.
3D Evo also has a front 1.3MP front camera and the latest version of Android 2.3/ginger, something which will not find in every Android phone released today. Also running only HTC Android 'Sense UI' that brings its personalized Social Widget and many custom design settings for the 3D Evo of the skin. A turn off for consumers may be that the handset is not compact device which can be found on the market at 12.5 mm, with a weight of 170 g. If this device is very attractive mass depends on the point of price that HTC is still to be confirmed.
This type of device can be a big deal for the industry of cinema and technology as it may be necessary to demonstrate that public really wants 3D rather than other mobile innovations. Obviously when deciding on the purchase of this device consumers should look anything but the 3D capabilities and for many it is simply a trick without a TV 3D something cannot be used very often.
