3D or not 3D. That's the question pushing to consumers for the latest devices.

Console games Nintendo 3DS, 3D movie for Sony camcorder and a growing list of televisions 3D setting the pace.

It was only a matter of time before we would be recording and smartphones of 3D visualization capabilities and, as if on queue, the LG Optimus 3D has appeared to provide it. Available at Australia beginning of the next month.

Another phone capable 3D, 3D HTC Evo, was released on United States at the end of last week, but there is no firm release date as here.

So for now the 3D Optimus. Firstly, we should say that the Optimus 3D is a very capable Android phone. With its 1 GHz dual-core and dual processor dual back 5MP cameras and channels, it's fast and powerful and deservedly belongs among the higher levels of Android smartphones.

If you buy it is how interested you are in 3D. Some would say that 3D is better to leave it for the film, where is an immersive experience. If a snake with load impulses fangs do you in 3D cinema, that you want to get in the way.

But it is not immersion as this 3D on a smartphone in hand. If you take her in 3D Optimus depends on how much enjoy what LG calls its "3D Ecosphere", its center of operations where record and view 3D images and video, sharing content with Service YouTube 3D or playing 3D games.

LG 3D representation is not any trick. In fact, it is impressive. Images and video show real depth of field and elements in the front of the screen jump out.

For some this is real entertainment, but for other smaller screen experience 3D can be exhausting in the eyes; her try before you buy.

And, given our small screen 3D does not require glasses, you will need to jiggle the phone a bit to find the area of action so that the effect is clear and sharp.

LG 3D Ecosphere is accessed by a button on the right side of the phone. Pressing it opens the Centre, in a timely manner using 3D animation for menu items.

3D film resolution is 720 p recording and playback, but 2D is full HD at 1080p in the playback and recording mode.

Phone slick conversion functions: they can share photos 3D in 3D or 2D and 2D media can be converted to 3D, although the depth of field is not as pronounced. Unfortunately, 3D video played as 2D appears as two schools. LG has joined forces with Gameloft to offer three free 3D games: Nova, 6 asphalt and Let's Golf 2. Another seven free 3D games are available via download Gameloft.

There were delays of 15 seconds to load games. But once loaded they were sweetly. You can also play with the phone connected to a TV with 3D. In addition to its dual-core and dual-channel processor, 3D Optimus comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be extended another 32 GB with a microSD card; a brilliant 4.3 WVGA screen inches; a micro HDMI to connect the phone to the TV; and a USB port for charging and synchronizing.

Software-Wise is Android 2.2 (Froyo), but promises an update over the air to 2.3 (ginger bread). Unlike some competitors, 3D Optimus has some widgets informative and well designed to display your email, calendars and messages.

It was easy to setup email for Gmail and mail from Microsoft Exchange of our work. The phone also includes a camera in front of VGA for video conferencing.

There is a USB port for USB core capacities, but can not connect storage as a drive USB flash and portable hard drive.

And 168 g is a little heavy. It is very good in your coat or trouser pocket, but in the pocket of the shirt you'll know it's there.

I found the proper to talk about daily 1500mAh battery and text messages, but start games or through functions 3D will quickly find the drains of juice. 3D phone manufacturers should include large batteries. It is axiomatic.

In summary, if you want a phone 3D 3D Optimus serves a remarkable 3D offer.
