Smartphone 3D LG Optimus high-end will be launched at the beginning of the next month of the Movistar network. LG Optimus 3D key selling point is its 3D display 4.3 inches.

The phone works with version 2.2 (Froyo) Android, operating system for mobile Google. According to LG phone can be upgraded to version 2.3 of Android, gingerbread, but the provider has not revealed the scheduling of updates.

Unlike the majority of 3D TVs, 3D Optimus capacitive touchscreen display does not require special glasses to watch 3D images. Like the Nintendo 3DS, the phone uses a barrier of parallax in front of the LCD 480 x 800 screen to create a 3D effect, showing different images to a left and right of user eyes.

The phone is also capable of shooting 3D pictures and videos using two cameras mounted behind five Megapixels.

LG Optimus 3D is powered by Texas Instruments OMAP4430 system-on-a-chip, which uses two cores 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A9.

The phone will be available for a suggested retail price of $799 or $0 cap plan $59.
